Santosh as a child always wished for climbing the mountains. She found it interesting when the villagers going up hill would vanish after a while. So she decided to try it herself. While she was trying, she found a group of mountaineers. Therefore, she decided to save money and later enrolled herself in a course at Uttarkashi’s Nehru Institute of Mountaineering.
