Private Quelch corrected Sergeant during his lecture on muzzle velocity of the gun by giving exact figures. The Sergeant felt a bit disrespected. As a result, he asked a lot of questions and transferred them to Private Quelch. However, his technique failed as Private Quelch answered all the questions correctly and this only resulted in the enhancement of Private Quelch's glory.
