Answer:

Marathi [ʃiʋaˑɟiˑ bʱoˑs(ə)leˑ]; c. 1627/1630 – 3 April 1680[3]) was an Indian warrior king and a member of the Bhonsle Maratha clan. Shivaji carved out an enclave from the declining Adilshahi sultanate of Bijapur that formed the genesis of the Maratha Empire. In 1674, he was formally crowned as the chhatrapati (emperor) of his realm at Raigad.

Agricultural Policy of Shivaji Maharaj - Shivaji wrote a letter to his officer in Prabhanvalli area (Sangameshwar) in 1676. He clearly mentioned that help the farmers with donation of seeds & tax benefit for them in drought condition & warned his army to not to touch a single plant from farmers field.
