Explanation: The colonies had to give all of their trade goods to England, such as tobacco, wheat, and sugar. They than got Rum and other manufactured goods to go to England where they traded for slaves. The slaves than did more work for the colonists, making them have more trade goods without having to work for it.

The slaves play very important role in colonial rule. The colonial officials demand more taxes from them, also the goods made by the slaves is purchased by the officials in a cheap rate and exporting it at high prices, thus helps to grow the colonial economy.
