After their defeat it is said that Subhash Chandra Bose boarded a plane in Myanmar for Japan. His plane might have crashed or he might have died in Taipei, Taiwan while undergoing treatment for injuries or the tuberculosis he which he suffered from.
His death will remain a mystery and controversial to historians. But I believes his plane crashed and was never found. If he reached Japan safely, some records must exist and found by now.
