1.The company used the Treasury to maintain its army.
2. It also used in the trade to purchase cotton and silk textiles in India.
3.It also used the vast Treasury to meet the cost of buildings, forts and offices and Calcutta.
4. In this way, the company was allowed to use the vast revenue resources of Bengal.
