Hey mate,. The author was shocked to see the two boys working so hard day and night and yet they lived meagerly.so once he inquired one of the boy about their earnings but he could not share his plans with him.so narrater AJ Cronin was deeply shocked that the 2boys were ready to accept all kinds of odd jobs ...
