Answer:

By the {BATTLE OF PLASSEY}

Explanation:

the the battle was fought between the Nawab of Bengal who is sirajudullah and the English East India company in 1757. Consequently was started on 23 June 1757 on the field of Plassey. their Robert Clive played the company's Army against SIRAJ-ud-daula atPlassey. One of the main reasons for the defeat of Nawab was that is commander in chief mirjafar and a large portion of nawab Army under him did not assist Nawab in this battle.Clive had managed to secure his support by promising to make him Nawab after crushing sirajuddaula .the Battle of Plassey became famous because it was the first major victory of the company in India . then ROBERT CLIVE became the governor of Bengal in 1758
