1) Congress leaders were arrested one by one when Abdul Gaffar Khan(frontier Gandhi) follower & the disciple of Gandhi was arrested many people of Peshawar were killed in protest.

2) amantrit Mahatma Gandhi himself was arrested a private and government responded with the policy of brutal repression peaceful attend womens and childrens badly beaten about hundred thousand people were arrested.
