how did the British pass certain regulations to control freedom of press in India? Explain
My answer for this question is
British has passed certain regulations to control freedom of press in India.
▪️ During that time to promote press , the press people was promoting a lot like newspapers etc.
▪️ The press people were misusing the press freedom.
▪️At that time, Books were so popular
▪️ The British government passed Vernacular act to control the press freedom
▪️It was done by Thomas Macaulay
▪️To avoid the misuse of freedom the government imposed some rules.
My doubt is that why did my teacher gave only 1 mark?
Should I not ask her to give full marks?​
