How did the British try to justify the decision to partition Bengal?​

It needs a fragmentation or division of British-India in its territorial boundary. Muslims were in favour of this partition relieving them from lower condition under the Hindu hegemony. So, partition of Bengal was held under the auspicious of Lord Curzon, British viceroy of India in 1905.

the british tried to partition bengal on the pretext of better administrative system but the members of indian national congress could sense the idea of the british on separating the hindu and muslims. All total british portioned bengal to separate the hindu and muslims.
