For very long time, french society was divided in two classes those how owned land were called landed aristocracy and people who do not owned land were called working class. The working class were denied many rights and privileges in society. As a result working class revolted against the landed aristocracy, which lead to French Revolution in 1789. people fought for EQUALITY,LIBERTY and FRATERNITY.It was through this revolution the working class and other underprivileged people got the freedom to speak and express their views and were treated equally. The French Revolution made the common people powerful; this became the important feature of democracy . EQUALITY and LIBERTY,as the central idea of democracy, were strength in French Revolution .
