Darkie rarely spend his day with her mother...Because her mother have lots of work to do..She has to pull the carts,drop the passengers,etc,etc...But darkie’s mother spend little bit of the time with her mother in which her mother used to explain about good behaviour and attitude...

Actually the answer is not specific...I read the novel in 6th std..It’s a very beautiful novel (Black beauty)...
