ii) Many genuinely believed Nazism would bring prosperity and improve general well being.

iii) The large majority of Germans, however were passive onlookers.

iv) There were many who followed Nazi agenda under fear.

2. Many defied Nazism and oppressed Nazi ideas. They organised active resistance to Nazism They even faced police repression and death.
