(i) making of constitution for a huge & diverse country was a difficult task.

(ii) the people were emerging from the status of subjects to that if citizens.

(iii) the country was born through a partition in the basis of religion.

(iv) many peoples were killed.

(v) princely states were to be merged in India which was a difficult and uncertain task
