Civil disobedience movement was the movement started by Mahatma Gandhi 1930 the aim of the civil disobedience movement is to break the laws

in this movement Gandhiji kept eleven demands in front of Lord Irwin major demands were to abolish salt tax, to decrease land revenue and many more.

Lord Irwin interpret to follow the demand so Gandhi ji with his 78 trusted volunteers started the salt march in the salt march they covered the distance of 240 miles in 24 days means 10 miles per day .They started the salt march from Sabarmati to Dandi and named it as the Dandi March. Due to this movement Gandhiji breaked many laws which are wrong. They illegally manufactured salt at a very large scale by boiling sea water in this movement different social groups also took part with the motive to disobey Britishers. In this moment Congress was mixed with Hindu Mahasabha due to which Muslims did not give support to this moment
