The doctor didn't give any medication to the dog. Instead, he did not give him food but only water for 3 days. As he started to show interest in his surroundings and was licking the empty food bowl of other dogs then the doctor started giving him food. After a week or so, the dog was again healthy and muscular. He then called the dog's owner after a fortnight and she took the dog back with him very happily seeing that her dog has recovered and was healthy again;
