The duck longed to tour the world like the kangaroo, whom she believes is gifted with the ability to hop high and travel large distances. The Kangaroo agreed to fulfil the duck's request of taking her around the world. At night, the duck met the kangaroo with his worsted socks, cloak and cigars, and balanced steadily on the tail of the Kangaroo. With a hop and a bound, they went around the world thrice, passing the Dee, and the Jelly Bo Lee, over the land, and over the sea, and they felt happy while doing so.
