Due to the modern warfare and man-power the British had won the battle easily while the locals were crushed even more so than before. The Indians were made slaves by the Britishers. One of the major reasons for the revolt was the British had been controlling the economic, political and educational practices of the locals. The Imposition of taxes and illegal captivation of land had made the Indians tired hence the war was an outburst to free themselves but they failed.
