After world war 1, latin america face difficulties in product export, it experience a sharp decrease in prices in 1920-1921, as the world economy adjusted to peacetime conditions. Out of 22 commodities only three recorded annual rates of increase in world volume above 5% between 1931 and 1928, and fifteen had rates of increase below 3% a year. Silver, gold, rye, barley, cotton and wool- export in volume did not increase by more than 1% a year. It also decline in import due to shipping and other difficulties. Import restriction is applied to all products, and firms were frequently denied access to imports of capital good to expand their capacity. therefore due to such decline in economy authoritarian dictators were removed due to their failure to deal with economic problems.
