The elf helped Patrick in doing his homework by making Patrick read all his textbooks as well as others from the library. The elf would also ask Patrick to check the dictionary if he did not know any word.

the elf is ready to do Patrick's homework because Patrick save the life if elf from the cat. so the elf promised to fulfil Patrick's wish.it was Patrick wish that the elf shoud do all his homework till the end 9f that semester.
