The Enlightenment was definitely a cause of revolutions all over the world. The scientific thought caused people to question the Church and the power of the King. The English Bill of Rights is a good example of how advanced thought was put into work to improve the standard of living of people. It demanded that flaws in the government be fixed and the natural rights of man be put in place. The Enlightenment also spread the works of the thinkers of the time to people who otherwise would not have been informed
