When Bismarck died, France established a friendly and economic relations with Russia and England. Thus the three countries entered into the triple Entente, which was created to counter the Triple Alliance. After some years Japan too joined the Triple Entente.
These rivalries between nations happened for colonial trade and for trade routes. Thus these rivalries created a tension, and wars.
