how did the fall of bastille prison become the immediate cause of French revolution

bastille prison stood as the despotic power of the king. once it was stormed the people gained confidence and even after that rumours said that the king has sent troops to stop the people. on the other hand the prices of bread were increased rapidly. this all started after the storming of bastille and it lead to the outbreak of the revolution.
