According to me-
A family was stucked in an abandoned island and they all knew it was hard for them to get out from here, so they decided to build a shelter for protection. In order they started searching for something useful, their one son pointed to an abandoned den. They first checked the shelter and then collected the respective objects they needed for survival and long woods to make gate for somewhat not much of a narrow opening of the den, until the helicopter rescue they surely have to survive!
