At the time of first world war (1914 - 1918)
The britishers were busy in world war so they can't pay their full attention towards India
During this time period, Gandhiji launched three satyagraha
1) In 1916 --- Champaran Satyagraha
2) In 1917 ---- Kheda satyagraha
3) In 1918 --- Ahmedabad
These satyagraha helped in growth of nationalism in India...
Hope it will help you.... ☺

Answer:
Explanation:
during the first world war (1914 - 1918) the British government were forcing Indians to join their army and at that time there was also a crop failure but the British government were forcing all men to join their army (i.e; very fewer farmers were left in India which lead to food shortage) looking at all this condition many Indian revolutionaries such as Mahatma Gandhi took advantage and disseminate feeling of nationalism in India and thus first world war helped in nationalism in India .
