Answer :
In the short story 'A Shady Plot' by Elsie Brown, the narrator's wife Lavinia had organized a ouija party in the house. The narrator was sent to the ouija party with the sole purpose of persuading the people to stop the use of the Ouija board in exchange for the ghost's help in writing his story. The ghost, Helen, was busy answering the questions asked. There were many questions to answer from the different ouija boards which made Helen tired and exhausted. So, the ghost of Helen appeared in sections before John Hallock.
