How did the principles of theFrench Revolution spread throughout Europe? It spread through Napoleon's conquering of other countries. They were then forced to abide by his Napoleonic Code, which was influenced by the French Revolution.

When the news of the event in France reached the different cities of Europe students and other members of educated middle class began setting up Jacobin clubs. Their activities and campaigns prepared the way for the French armies which moved into Holland Belgium.Switzerland and much of Italy in the 1790s,Wuth the out break of the revolutionary was,the french armies began to carry the idea of nationalism abroad.
