the king and the hermit helped the wounded mam by providing him shelter and protected from the army. the king washed and covered the wound of the man with his handkerchief but the blood would not stop flowing the king redressed the wound until it stopped bleeding .they both took him to hut for talking rest and the king also gave him fresh water after being relaxed.

The king helped the hermit by digging the earth. The king after getting no answer from the hermit king decided to go away but he overstayed in hermit's house and the bearded man would have killed the king if he went away. For this digging of beds for the hermit saved the king's life.
