The king showed his forgiveness to the wounded man by treating his wounded part (stomach).

The king forgave the man and gave his word that he will send his own physician and servants to take care of him. He also promised that the bearded man's property would be restored and he would serve him till death. The king was happy to see that the bearded man had shown remorse and he felt that he deserved forgiveness.
