The land revenue system of British government affected the north Indian farmers in the following ways -
• The British government had full control over the land revenue system of the north Indian states like the Bengal, Orissa and Bihar.
• That's why these northern states became major victims of the illegal land revenue system of the British government.
• The British government issued an enormous amount of land revenue on the farmers of the above mentioned states,in order to accelerate their incomes from our country.
• But,due to the excessive revenue collection of the British government the agricultural industries degraded in the northern states and the farmers suffered a lot.
