yes ofcourse there is a need of a national language . Country like india where there is unity in diversity .After a bountry we can see a different culture and different language . In the villages and in arbain areas people are not able communicate in english and we cannot talk to them in their language . So in that case a national language become medium of communication . If government wants to give instruction to the nation then how people of backward areas will connect to the nation .So in such case a national language plays its role
