At first the mariners told the ancient mariner had done a very wrong thing by killing the bird . But when the weather improved they said he did the right thing by killing the bird. Finally when the ship stopped moving they said he had committed a crime. They charge their mind three times this shows that they do not have a opinion of their own . Actually they are fickle minded.
