The first night at Darchen was a very troubled one for the author as he suffered from intense cold. He could feel that his chest was heavy and had to breathe in through his mouth. He tried desperately to get a sleep through the night but all his efforts went in vain. He kept awake for the entire night as under the prevailing circumstances he could hardly get a sleep.
