Non cooperation movement spread in countryside rapidly. In the auwadh, the movement was led by baba Ramchandra a sanyasi. Nai bhand andolans were arranged to deprive the landlords of the basic facilities. The movement for them was against the land lords.
In Gudem hills, Alluri Sitaram Raju led the movement. He had a great respect for gandhiji and he said that people should wear khadi cloth. The movement was for the traditional rights to go in forest and collect the essential materials which were violated by the British.
Oudh kisan sabha was founded by Jawaharlal nehru and baba Ramchandra with others.
