The partition of India was a heartbreaking experience for the children of the poor.
They saw bloodshed, murder, rape at a minor age and also lost their parents in the riots and while moving from one country to another.
They were not able to continue the primary education and were very much psychologically demoralized.
They became refugees overnight without any fault.
