Though nobody wanted to kill it, the bird accidentally died.
After his death, the crew of the ship regarded the killing of albatross as a right decision.
Later they wanted to get albatross back as it brought the wind for steering the ship.
Similarly, the poet in snake also wanted the snake back to avail his hospitality as the honored guest.
