Answer:

Polish was also used for Church gatherings and all religious instructions inspite of its abolition by the Russian. As a result, many priests and bishops were punished. Thus, the use of Polish came to be seen as a symbol of the struggle against Russian dominance.

Answer:

After the Treaty of Vienna 1815, Poland was given to Russian control. The Russians had pushed polish language out of the schools and churches. Only Russian language was allowed.

Later, an armed Polish rebellion had been crushed by the Russians. People of Poland began using their language as a weapon of resistance. Priests in churches began using Polish for their teachings. The Russians began punishing the priests by sending them to jail and sending them in exile to Siberia.

By this way, Polish language was used as a weapon of resistance against the Russians.
