The post office people didn't behave properly with Ali they used call out his name to see how long he jumps from his seat but when he ask them about his letter they use to say him there is no letter for him and they didn't call-out his name and every day they used to tease him like this and make his fun .

The people of the postoffice were very mean to Ali. They made fun of him. They made fun of his emotions, his faith in getting his daughter's letter and they even called him mad. They would call out his name just for the sake of having fun and would laugh on his misery. All this didn't affect Ali as he was very much determined by the love for his daughter.
