Lencho the farmer had asked for 100 pesos to be given to him by writing a letter to God. Having unflinching faith in God, he requested God to help him in his difficult times in order to support him and his family.
Lencho's crops had been ruined by the hailstorms that rained for almost more than an hour. The letter by Lencho was received by the postman at the post office who initially laughed at it but later on thought of helping the needy man by himself collecting the amount and sending him.
It was a charitable act on part of the postman who managed to collect only 70 pesos ( 30 less than asked by Lencho) from his colleagues and neighbours and donated himself.
He did so because he did not want the strong faith of Lencho on god to waver even slightly.
