The Rashtrakutas were a subordinate to the Chalukyan empire. In 18th century’s mid sector, a Rashtrakuta chief by the name Dantidurga, overthrew his Chalukyan overlord and did a yajna by the name Hiranya-Garba, which means Golden Womb in Sanskrit. It was done with help of Brahmins/Brahmans/Brahmanas.
