in general all aspects of architecture can be categorized as Structural, Functional and Aesthetics.

Anything physical such as building or any other type of construction of any scale that encloses/defines space & provides safety makes up the structural aspects of architecture.

Anything that deals with the utility part such as convenience, comfort, suitability etc. would be classified under the functional aspects.

Lastly everything that deals with the expression/appreciation of visible beauty, stimulation of senses, satisfaction and enjoyment, can be included in the aesthetics part.
