Salt satyagraha was started in 1930 by Mahatma Gandhi from Sabarmati Ashram. It was started to protest against the tax on the salt raised by the British government. Gandhi ji started it from the said place and went to the dandi coast. And broke the rule by making salt. This is a great resistance to the British in 1930.....
