In P.B Shelley's poem Ozymandias, the poet shows how a traveler finds a statue that is half sunk, which had once been the symbol of glory of the king who got it made to show his might and power.

The statue had all the real expressions of the king. The sculptor explained the passions of the king well as he added the detailed frown, contemptuous smile,  and the sneer of cold command. He captured the might of the king as well.
