Socialists saw "private property" as the root to all social problems even though land gave people employment. After the 1870s, socialists formed a body known as the second international. All over Germany and England, labour associations began to come up to demand better living and working conditions. This is how socialism began to spread in Europe. However, it wasn’t until that a socialist government was formed in Europe.
