Hallo!
Sparrows came to the grandma's home as a daily routine for taking up their daily food that used to be given by the grand mother, but at the time of her death sparrows visited their home as usually but not ready to take food nor even Chirupping. They all sat silently at the corpse of the grandmother with a silence around them.
Hope it helps!

hey dear friend ,
hundred of sparrows sat quietly near the dead body of narrator's grandmother , without any chrriuping they sat with great sorrow , they did not eat any bread crumbs thrown by the narrator's mother , and when the dead body was taken away , they flew away . This shows the great love and affection B/w the grandmother and birds .
