Viewed from the Moon, the stars appear much brighter and sharper, in strong contrast with the blackness of the airless sky. And, if looking in the opposite side from the brightness of Sun or Earth, a lot more dim stars are visible, down to the true visual limit.
Also, giving the absence of atmosphere, the stars viewed from the Moon (or from space) do not twinkle and appear as perfect clear dots of light.
