2. Preaching God is in yourself: He erected a temple and placed mirror as a diety, stating that God lives in ourselves. Seeing ones as a God. Every one should have opportunity for realization of themselves.

3. Teaching Sanskrit Education: He taught Sanskrit to the lower strata people and started Sanskrit school at Sivagiri, and always gave importance to the education and attached schools to the Ashrams.

Narayana Guru was a social reformer of India. He was born into a family of the Ezhava caste in an era when people from such communities, which were regarded as Avarna, faced much injustice in the caste-ridden society of Kerala.

He led a reform movement in Kerala, rejected casteism, and promoted new values of spiritual freedom and social equality.

It was Sree Narayana Guru's efforts, along with those of Sree Chattampi Swami, which stemmed mass conversions in the late 1890s and led to the opening up of public spaces, including temples, to all Hindus, regardless of their caste, in Kerala.

Sri Narayana Guru was a visionary and fought for the rights for the lower caste people in Kerala. He established the Narayana Dharma Paripalana Yogam and the Arivipuram temple.

In the temple all the low castes were allowed. Sri Narayana Guru proposed that there was no definite caste and all people were equal. He also proposed the statement 'Oru Jaathi' meaning one caste.

He persuaded the.lower caste people to fight for their rights and to not to be downtrodden.

In 1928 the Guru finally left Earth, but his legacy and beliefs are still alive with us to this very day.
