Traveller or Stranger behaved in all the courtesies of a tourist.He was friendly with Muni and he also offered him cigarette twice in the story.Then after seeing the statue he talked like a businessman and was happy to buy the statue.He thought it to be good to show some interest in Muni's animals.
Muni first thought him to be a policeman and thought that he came here to arrest him or question him for the murder of a man whose body was found mutilated at the border of his village and his neighbouring village.Muni was not able to understand what was he telling as the traveller was talking in English and Muni know only two words of English('Yes','No').
Muni didn't understood for what was the money given to him and thought that traveller has bought his goats.
