Nationalism in Europe unified Germany and Italy, but also countries in and around Europe

In Italy, Nationalism helped to unite different groups of people in the 1800s

This unity was brought about by people who shared common culture, traditions, and it was due to these factors unity was brought about in Italy

Similarly, in Germany unification was brought about in the same period

They did not like ruled by foreign entities and hence, they felt only a unified Germany can increase the growth of their economy

In India too, nationalist movement had great impact on citizens of India who were being ruled by British

They started protests which made the British to quit India and made them independent

To make India free from the clutches of British, national leaders played an important role to gain independence

It was believed that growth of economy and trade can be developed only through unification of countries

hope it helps!
